New Fingerprint Lock System for Hotel !

1: Introduction

Network fingerprint lock connects burglar fingerprint lock with the computer through communication equipment such as network or exchanger. The data can be transmitted between lock and computer directly, thus the computer can control the lock in real time and it simplifies the management.

ADEL network fingerprint lock combines its fingerprint technology, network technology and smart card technology together. We are the first to integrate network fingerprint lock with the RF card door lock system. Not only the convenience and security of the fingerprint lock is ensured, but also it controls the locks in real time from long range.

2: Application

Network fingerprint locks are used in some places where the locks have to be controlled in the management center in real time:
(1) Hotel and Office: Stars hotel, Embassy, Bank, Military, Hospital, Factory, Warehouse, Financial center etc.
(2) Residential District: Villa, Apartment etc.

3: Component

There are two parts in the Network Topology: Computer network and facility network for fingerprint lock.
The computer network is ETHERNET, and the facility network is RS485. They are connected with each other through a network component such as RS485 transition. Thus it makes up a complete network fingerprint lock system.

3.1 Computer (The customer can purchases in his size)
  Network version: one server, at least one computer at the reception desk.
Stand-alone version: one computer at the reception desk.

3.2 System Software (The customer can purchase in his size)
  Requirement for network version:
  • Server Operation System: Windows2000 Server
  • Database management system: SQL Server Standard/Enterprise Edition
  • Operation System of the computer in front desk: Windows2000/XP
Requirement for Stand-alone version:
  • Operation System of the computer in front desk: Windows2000/XP
  • Database management system: SQL Server Desktop Edition/MSDE

3.3 Management Software (Provided by ADEL)
  There are three types of management software according to the quantity of the lock:
  • Software for simple system: Control 1-32 locks
  • Software for medium system: Control 33-256 locks
  • Software for large system: Control >256 locks

3.4 Peripheral equipment of computer (Provided by ADEL)
  It includes fingerprint registration equipment and RF card encoder. The customer can choose from the list below:
  • Small Fingerprint Reader
  • Standard Fingerprint Reader
  • Mifare Card Encoder
  • Automatic Fingerprint Reader

3.5 Network Fingerprint Lock (Provided by ADEL)
  The customer can choose one for the project's requirement:
  • 6000 series network fingerprint lock

3.6 Network Component (Provided by ADEL or the customer can purchase in his side)
  One 485 port can collect 32 locks at most. The customer can choose a suitable transition for the project's requirement:
  • RS232/RS485 Transition
  • RS485 Transition with several ports

3.7 Related products of the network fingerprint lock (Provided by ADEL)
  Each lock is connected with a Signal and Power box and a wire case, which protects the signal line:

5: Product List and Description

 1) ADEL provides three types of network fingerprint lock management software according to the quantity of the lock. The customer can choose one for their project’s requirement.

(1) Software for simple system that controls 1-32 locks;
(2) Software for medium system that controls 33-256 locks
(3) Software for large system that controls more than 256 locks

  1. Designed by American ADEL Company;
  2. It integrates with ADEL electronic hotel lock software;
  3. Friendly interface, easy to operate;
  4. Strict hierarchical management;
  5. Checking and statistical report function;
  6. Monitor the door lock status in real time;
  7. Real time audit trail;
  8. Communication server software is running in the background, so the communication between different port cannot interfere each other;
  9. Database uses SQL Server;
  10. Stand-alone and network version for choice.

2) 6000 Serial network fingerprint lock

  1. Professional design;
  2. Three ways of unlocking: Fingerprint/Network/ Mechanical Key;
  3. American style, PVD coated surface, color-fast in ten years;
  4. PVD coated glass surface of optical sensor; high wear-resisting degree;
  5. Maximum 32 fingerprints can be registered;
  6. Fingerprint area will be automatically wakened up through the infrared
  7. It integrates with ADEL Mifare hotel card lock;
  8. ANSI standard mortise with five latches.

3) Fingerprint registration equipment and RF card encoder

ADEL network fingerprint lock system uses fingerprint registration equipment to collect users fingerprint, and issue fingerprint key for designated room under right authority.

ADEL provides three types of fingerprint registration equipment and one Mifare card encoder:

Small Fingerprint Reader;
(2)
Standard Fingerprint Reader;
(3)
Automatic Fingerprint Reader. The customer can choose one for the project requirement;
(4) Mifare card Encoder. The customer can choose one for the project's requirement.

(1) Small Fingerprint Reader
  1. USB interface, suitable for simple system;
  2. Capture and transmit the fingerprints to the management computer.

(2) Standard Fingerprint Reader
  1. USB interface;
  2. Holds all the functions of Small Fingerprint Reader;
  3. One or two fingerprint sensors for choice.

(3) Automatic Fingerprint Reader
  1. USB interface;
  2. Holds all the functions of Small Fingerprint Reader;
  3. Holds all the functions of Mifare card Encoder.
  4. Automatic Operation;
  5. It can write the fingerprint into the card for long use.

(4) Mifare card Encoder
  1. Issue Mifare key card at the reception desk or the management center;
  2. Can be developed to fingerprint card with the Fingerprint Reader.

(5) Signal and Power Box
  1. DC power supply;
  2. Linkage between network wires;
  3. Control the signal transmission between control center and locks;
  4. Used together with lock.

(6) Wire Case专用线槽

  2. We offer all the installation tools;
  3. Perfect structure to protect the wire.

Installation

(7) MiFare 1 card
Used for proximity card lock;
MF1 Functions and parameter:
  1. Capacity: 8K EEPROM;
  2. It has 16 sectors, and one sector is divided to 4 areas, each area has 16 bytes; every card has its own serial number.
  3. Each sector has its own code which controls its using; every card has its own serial number.
  4. No power supply, with antenna inside, circuit with encrypted control logic and communication logic are included;
  5. Data Retention:10 years; Read/Write Cycle: 100,000 times;
  6. Working temperature: -20℃~50℃(humidity 90%)
  7. Working frequency: 13.56MHZ Communication rate: 106 KBPS Inducing distance: <=10 cm;
Remarks: ADEL Mifare card can be developed to be multifunctional with fingerprint information as its identification method.

(8) Server( Customer can purchase in his side)
  1. Hardware requirement: PentiumIIII or greater,256M RAM or greater.
  2. System requirement:IE 6.0, Windows2000;Database: MS SQL Server 2000.

(9) Printer ( Customer can purchase in his side)
Print all the unlocking information.

ADEL network fingerprint lock system has two types of network transition: Moxa Transition and RS232/485. The customer can choose one for the project requirement.

(1) Moxa Transition

  1. Moxa is connected with the management computer or the switch through RJ45;
  2. It is suitable for large fingerprint network lock system;
  3. 4-port/8-port/16-port for choice, each port can connect 32 locks;
  4. We can provide an IP that can connect with the intranet in hotels or company;
  5. The distance from the Moxa to the door lock can reach as far as 800 meters.

(2) RS232/485 Transition

  1. RS232/485 is connected with the management computer through one of the serial port;
  2. 32 locks can be connected at most;
  3. Suitable for simple network fingerprint lock system;
  4. The farthest distance is 800 meters;5. Suitable for small system with the locks in the same floor.
